About Me

Welcome to my website.  I am a stay at home mom of three beautiful children and an amazing husband. I became interested in cake decorating after the birth of my first child.  I wanted to make her 1st birthday cake special and so I took a Wilton cake decorating class at a local JR. college and loved it.  I took the other two classes that Wilton offered and have yet to stop learning.  I started doing cakes for friends and family who encouraged me to take it to the next level.  With the support of my husband seven years later here I am.

I am an active member and Program Chairman of  the Friendly Frosters Cake Club in Lubbock Texas.  I have primarily been self taught, using the internet and as many videos and cake books as I can get my hands on.  I have also had wonderful opportunities to takes classes from great cake decorators such as Earlene Moore and  B. Keith Ryder.  I recently had a cake photo published in the Mail Box News.  I have also had a grand champion cake in the culinary professional division at the South Plains Fair. I am learning every day and absolutely love cake decorating and the sugar arts.  I hope to help you have a great cake experience.
